The webcam powering this live stream is being used to record and archive high resolution images of Mirror Lake every minute. These images will be used to help maintain the ice record for the lake, one of the longest lake ice records in the country. The images will also be available to other researchers to monitor changes in the arrival of loons, changes in snow fall, shifts in the timing of fall foliage, etc.
This livestream provides all those that love Mirror Lake, near and far, to have a constant connection to this beautiful waterbody.
