How to Change the Default Webcam and Microphone in Windows 10

Since I created this video, I have realized that some computers display the settings slightly differently, please head over to my blog post (see the link above) which has some alternative ways of achieving the same result.

In this video, I show you how to change the default internal webcam and microphone on a Windows 10 computer.

I am discussing Facebook Live in this instance, but it really applies to any application or program on your computer.
In fact, Facebook has now added the option to choose both the camera and microphone.

Because the changes are made in the system settings, this will enable you to use any external camera and microphone that you want to, in any application or program that uses a webcam and/or a microphone.

In my case, I wanted to use the Logitech C920 HD webcam and the Blue Yeti USB microphone.

This is how I use the webcam with a transparent background while screen sharing 🙂
